Sensors for Education

In my work at the MIT Media Lab Social Computing Group I researched and developed wearable sensors for preschool environments. My thesis work involved the design and implementation of a miniature child-fitted wristband device for measuring a range of physiological signals to assess early childhood development. My roles:

  • Component research, electrical schematic and PCB design and fabrication.
  • Writing firmware to sample, process, and store sensor readings.
  • Implementing DSP and ML algorithms to indicate patterns and correlations in data.
